Simon captures 12th National Steeple TitleJuly 7th 2008 - Simon cruised to a very easy 8.26.07 at the Dutch Nationals yesterday, while taking more than 40 seconds lead to his fellow Groningen club man Olfert Molenhuis. Simonīs main competitor Dennis Licht unfortunately fell over a barrier after 600m and had to leave the race. The title was Simonīs 12th on the steeple, and 10th consequetive one, making the winning streak from 1999-2008 complete.
