First victory of the year 2007February 18th 2007 - After a non-running period of over 4 months due to severe achilles tendinitis, Simon hs started running again. Not competitively, but for fun. He participated in the local Leuvenheim race last Sunday with his former team mates Henk Gommer (3.41, 13.30), Frank Wiegman (3.38) and Casper Vroemen (3.41). Simon won the 15km race over a rainy and very muddy course in 55 minutes, more than 5 minutes ahead of the pack. Just 3 days after the race, Simon has turned sick and is out of running already for almost a week.
